Speaker – David Morris
David Morris made history at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games when he became Australia’s first male to win an Olympic aerials medal. Having made the four-man ‘Super Final’, Morris landed his quad twisting somersault to score 110.41 and take home the silver medal behind Anton Kushnir from Belarus.
Following Sochi, Morris took a year off from the sport – however, he soon decided to return for his third Olympic Games, this time at PyeongChang 2018.
At the 2018 Games, Morris finished 10th in the men’s aerials which saw the 33- year-old narrowly miss out on progressing to the second round.
